Håkon Thelin wins Spellemann award for his album “Light”
Atterklang congratulates Håkon Thelin with the Norwegian Grammy award 2011 (Spellemann). Thelin won the award for “Best contemporary album” with “Light”.

Thelin has researched and presented a number of novel techniques on the double bass. The album “Light” features his solo playing and the performance of two duos, with the tenor Frank Havrøy and with the Italian violinist Marco Rogliano who plays on the record’s title track.
